- Apply pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers to plants as needed.
- Plant seeds, transplant seedlings, fertilizes, weeds, prunes, repots, waters, and mulches plants, shrubs, and trees in the nursery using hand and gardening tools.
- Regularly inspect plants and report progress to farm managers.
- Ensure plants are healthy and receive proper care.
- Load plants, agricultural products and project items into trucks or storage facilities safely and efficiently.
- Maintains clean work areas, grounds, and landscaping.
- Ensures the irrigation and control systems are working properly; performs basic maintenance and repairs.
- Maintains records for plants related to order, size, watering, feeding, pesticide and products used.
- Assist in the installation of plant systems and external projects, if necessary
- Assist with minor sales tasks, including helping customers carry items to their vehicles and supporting stock delivery to the retail section when needed.
- Packing, labeling and sorting fertilizers and products
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- Must be physically fit and capable of handling physically demanding tasks, including outdoor work and lifting heavy items.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination.

- Enjoys handling plants and is comfortable working in both hot weather and a temperature-controlled greenhouse.
- Knowledge of farming best practices is an advantage, but on-site training is offered.
