Job Description

  • Assist the Project Manager / Construction Manager on the project site works progress and delivery.
  • Liaise with client's representatives with regards to all site matters with proper documentation.
  • Coordinate with the main contractor / subcontractors / consultant with the delivery of products and installation works.
  • Liaise with suppliers/subcontractors on submission for approval and procurement of materials and products.
  • To crosscheck and submit all documents required for materials submission, shop drawings, and as build drawing submission in team binder.
  • Review of consultant’s documents for discrepancies.
  • To issue correspondence letter regarding for the site works matters.
  • Attend site meeting if required.
  • Responsible for monitoring the daily process and progress at the project site.
  • Carry out inspection of purchased materials delivered to the project site.
  • Identify and records quality control problems during production or site work.
  • Responsible for determining the cause of the quality problem and initiate corrective action.
  • All site administration works
  • Other duties to be performed as and when required

Minimum Education & Experience

  • Higher Diploma / Certificate in Building / Architecture Studies or equivalent
  • 3 – 5 years working experience in construction field
  • Effectively bilingual with good verbal and writing skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office application
  • Possess CIDB qualification.
  • Independent, proactive, technically competent and team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Possess teamwork spirit, problem solving skills and able to work independently.
  • Able to speak, read and write in English, Mandarin, Bahasa Malaysia. (in order to liaise with the English & Mandarin speaking officer / vendors)

Skills & Knowledge Required

  • Well verse with the use of Microsoft Excel, Words, Autocad, etc.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills and meticulous.
  • Proven experience working as a Project Coordinator, preferably in the ID contractor industry.
  • Good knowledge in construction activities processes.
  • Ability to work well in a team and independently, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Be a team player, proactive and systematic in your approach
  • Candidate with ID and facade works knowledge will be an advantage
