The ideal candidate will arrange and review the procurement processes related to Heavy Repair, Capital Expenditure and Management Expenses Works to ensure all executed projects achieve the best value for money.
Responsibilities
- Adopt best procurement practices for Heavy Repair, Capital Expenditure and Management Expenses Works and Services during pre-contract for the best value for money.
- Review pre-tender requirements including estimate, tender preparation, evaluation with Technical to ensure procedure are followed according to the best procurement practice to identify the best and reliable vendor.
- Provide relevant information (item code & quotation) to Requestor to create PR.
- Check and process all Purchase Requisition (PR) for completeness and accuracy of supporting documents with proper approvals obtained and compliant with the Procurement policy and procedure.
- Convert all PRs to Purchase Order (PO) on time as per agreed Service Level Agreement (SLA).
- Prepare end to end completions of PO issuance to PO finally close in the system
- Implement all improvement initiatives responsibilities as per requirements in the Red Book. To align with prevailing the government’s objective and initiatives.
- Analyse and provide information such as value and estimation from the previous projects as basis for future projects.
- Review and enhance innovation to the existing procurement processes in order to align with any initiative impose by the management and Government Authorities.
Qualification
- At least a Degree in Quantity Surveying/ Building Surveying/ Building/ Building Economics/ or equivalent
- Preferably 1-3 years' experience with procurement excellence & operations, ERP and e-Procurement
