Role Overview

We are looking for a passionate and results-oriented Business Development Manager to lead the growth of TALKE’s warehousing solutions in Malaysia, with a focus on chemical-related clients in both dangerous and non-dangerous goods sectors. In this full-time, on-site role based in Klang, you will shape and execute business strategies that drive revenue and expand TALKE's client base. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced business development professional eager to make a substantial impact on our warehousing business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Revenue Generation and Market Expansion

• Lead revenue growth initiatives for TALKE Malaysia’s warehousing solutions, targeting clients in the chemical logistics space.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities across both chemical and conventional warehousing sectors.

RFI and RFQ Management

• Spearhead and coordinate responses to Requests for Information (RFI) and Requests for Quotation (RFQ), ensuring client-centric, competitive proposals that emphasize TALKE’s unique strengths.

Proposal Development

• Craft tailored proposals that align with client needs, demonstrating our extensive expertise and commitment to best-in-class warehousing solutions.

Client Relationship Management

• Build and sustain positive, lasting relationships with clients by consistently engaging with them, managing inquiries, and addressing needs across our warehousing portfolio.

Client Engagement and Needs Assessment

• Conduct regular client visits to assess specific needs, identify growth opportunities, and deepen client relationships within the chemical logistics sector.

Departmental Coordination and Administrative Support

• Support internal coordination by preparing presentations, reports, promotional materials, and documentation that bolster our warehousing business.

Additional Contributions

• Take on additional responsibilities as required to support the success of TALKE’s warehousing initiatives.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven success in Business Development, Sales, and Negotiation, ideally in chemical logistics or hazardous materials warehousing.
• Strong knowledge of Free Trade Zone (FTZ) warehouse operations.
• A demonstrated ability to analyze market trends, develop strategies, and exceed sales targets.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills for engaging high-level stakeholders.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the logistics or chemical industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
• Malaysian citizens only.
