QUANTITY SURVEYOR- Provision of all the technical data to the commercial manager to be included in the project’s reports and such other reports, exercises or investigations required by the team or client.
- Reviewing and validating certification of contractor pay applications by consultant.
- Claims financial analysis and recommendation to the client.
- Preparation of estimates. Reviewing consultants estimates.
- Establishing and maintaining consistent and adequate administration procedures. These procedures will be followed across the project by the respective quantity surveyors working under the construction managers.
- Identifying document and coordinating with the construction managers to resolve potential issues.
- Quantifying and estimating costs for all proposed variations / change orders.
- Participating in all change order negotiations.
- Preparing, as required, cost estimates for each potential change.
- Generating and processing necessary change order documentation.
- Resolving requests for equitable adjustment, contract disputes and contract claims.
- Management of provisional sum expenditures and monthly cost reporting.
- Ad-hoc assigned by management.
QUALITY CONTROL- • Inspecting output samples using industry-appropriate methods, such as comparing to standards, measuring dimensions and examining functionality
- • Checking that the assembly or production line adheres to standards and procedures and complying with legal requirements
- • Reviewing blueprints and specifications to compare to produced goods
- • Recording inspection results by completing reports, summarizing re-works and wastes and inputting data into quality database
- • Training the production team on quality control measures to improve product excellence
- • Proposing improvements to the production process
- • Monitoring the use of equipment to ensure IT is safe and discard any that do not meet requirements
- • Updating job knowledge by engaging in educational opportunities and regular training
- • Keeping measurement equipment operating accurately by following calibration requirements and calling for repairs
QUANTITY SURVEYOR & QUALITY CONTROL- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Quantity Survey or Quality Control equivalent.
- Preferably Executives specializing in QS & QC equivalent.
- At least min 1-2 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Required language(s):Mandarin, English, Bahasa Malaysia
- Ideally person is a well-organized team player, able to solve on-site problems independently, and with good interpersonal skills.
- Integrity and honesty.
- Mandarin speaking is a plus.
