WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH You will be based either in Pusat Rehabilitasi PERKESO Tun Abdul Razak, Melaka working closely with our Speech and Integrated Healthcare Team WHAT YOU’LL DO 1. Lead comprehensive assessments: Conduct in-depth evaluations to assess complex speech, language, and swallowing disorders. Synthesize assessment data to formulate accurate diagnoses and develop sophisticated treatment plans. Provide consultation and recommendations to interdisciplinary teams based on assessment findings. 2. Develop advanced therapy plans: Design specialized therapy programs tailored to address unique patient needs and therapeutic goals. Implement advanced therapeutic interventions, including specialized techniques and modalities. Innovate treatment strategies based on evidence-based practices and clinical expertise. 3. Supervise and mentor junior therapists: Provide supervision and guidance to junior speech therapists, fostering their professional development. Review clinical assessments, treatment plans, and documentation to ensure quality and compliance. Offer constructive feedback and support to enhance clinical skills and decision-making capabilities. 4. Collaborate for integrated patient care: Serve as a key liaison with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care plans. Facilitate communication and collaboration among healthcare professionals to optimize treatment outcomes. Advocate for patient-centered care practices that prioritize individual needs and preferences. 5. Professional development activities: Provide education on complex diagnostic procedures, therapeutic interventions, and patient management strategies. Promote awareness of best practices in speech therapy through presentations and professional development activities. 6. Contribute to research and program development: Participate in research studies, clinical trials, or quality improvement projects related to speech therapy. Contribute insights and expertise to program development initiatives aimed at enhancing patient care delivery. Collaborate with academic institutions or professional organizations to advance knowledge in speech-language pathology. 7. Continuous professional growth: Engage in ongoing professional development activities, such as attending conferences and seminars. Stay informed about emerging trends, technologies, and research findings in speech therapy. Maintain professional licensure and certifications, adhering to ethical standards and regulatory requirements. 8. Other Duties as Assigned: Perform any other duty as deemed necessary by the employer to support the organization’s goals and objectives. REQUIRED QUALITIES: Bachelor's degree in Speech Therapy Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team. Detail-oriented with excellent record-keeping skills. Min Salary: RM6500
