Senior Executive Logistics and Delivery

1. Supervise daily shipping operations, including scheduling shipments, tracking deliveries, and ensuring compliance with regulations. 2. Supervise Logistics and Delivery staff, providing training and guidance to enhance performance and foster a collaborative work environment. 3. Work with superior to identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs in shipping and logistics operations. 4. To prepare decision analysis report on the forwarders' or transporters' quotation based on quality, delivery and cost. 5. Maintain fair relationships with shipping carriers and transporters, negotiating contracts and service agreements to ensure optimal pricing and service levels. 6. Analyse logistics and shipping data and performance metrics to identify trends and develop strategies for continuous improvement. 7. Explore, Identify, evaluate, and select transporter and shipping agent based on quality, cost, delivery, and reliability. 8. Participate in cross-functional teams for project-related activities. 9. Evaluate supplier performance and conduct regular assessments to ensure compliance with agreements. 10. In charge of tender related to Logistics and Shipping to secure best price and services when necessary. 11. Work with Purchasing, Sales and IMC department to address shipping and logistics inquiries and resolve issues related to deliveries. Forter and maintain good relationship with Custom. 12. Carry up shipping activities which comply with safety regulations and company policies. 13. Supervise Logistics team and monitor submission of MIDA quarterly report with collaboration with IMC and QA department. 14. Inventory Scrap Disposal application with collaboration with IMC and QA department. Handle Custom’s query and get the application approved by Custom within the plan dateline. 15. To undertake any other projects as assigned by superiors from time to time.
