Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Develop and implement safety policies, procedures, and training programs.
- Monitor safety performance and report on safety metrics to management.
- Provide safety training and orientation for new employees and subcontractors.
- Investigate accidents and incidents, documenting findings and recommending corrective actions.
- Act as the primary point of contact for safety-related inquiries and concerns.
- Stay updated on industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to occupational safety.
- Collaborate with project managers to integrate safety into project planning and execution.
- Maintain safety records, reports, and documentation as required by regulatory agencies.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field (preferred).
- Relevant certifications (e.g., OSHA 30-Hour, Certified Safety Professional) are a plus.
- Have a valid Yellow Book.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in safety management, preferably in construction or industrial settings.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing safety programs.
- Ability to analyze and interpret safety data and reports.
- Proficiency in conducting safety training sessions and presentations.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
