Job description:
・Responsible for daily customer service tasks for relocation customers concerning export, import, and domestic personal cargo shipments. Maintain appropriate communication with customers, external vendors, relevant internal departments, or overseas branches and agents.
・Handle daily documentation tasks for relocation customers concerning export, import, and domestic personal cargo shipments. Properly organize and provide documentation to customers, external vendors, relevant internal departments, or overseas branches and agents.
・Oversee on-site tasks for relocation customers concerning export, import, and domestic personal cargo shipments. Maintain proper communication with customers, external vendors, relevant internal departments, or overseas branches and agents. Manage staff and drivers according to their requests to ensure high quality and safety in packing/unpacking, loading/unloading, transport, and storage. Assist in on-site tasks during low shipment volumes or peak season staffing shortages.
・Monitor billing and cost calculation tasks to ensure accuracy in revenue, costs, and profit figures for export, import, and domestic personal cargo shipments, and secure timely payments from customers.
・Troubleshoot and provide appropriate solutions in the event of customer claims, damages, losses, accidents, or other issues, ensuring effective responses.
・Support the supervisor by maintaining updated daily, weekly, and monthly records of operations and sales.
・Assist the supervisor by providing data analysis for goal setting and proposing new projects or strategies.
・Review or revise procedures, work instructions, and guidelines to improve quality.
・Perform tasks as a project member for relocation customers concerning export, import, and domestic personal cargo shipments.
・Seek the best ways to maintain a strong network and good relationships with relocation customers.
・Adhere to quality, health and safety, and environmental policies.
・Comply with all relevant government regulations and legal requirements within the operational processes.
・Take full responsibility for all duties related to the above roles and responsibilities.
・During low-demand periods, perform IT-related tasks, including updating the website.
Requirements:
・High level of hospitality (> leadership)
・Japanese Speaking skills(N2 above)
・Holds a valid driver’s license
・Able to accommodate domestic and international business trips if necessary
