A Calibration Technician is responsible for the calibration, testing, and maintenance of measurement instruments and equipment to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards. This role involves working with a variety of equipment, including mechanical, electronic, and electrical devices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine calibration and preventive maintenance of instruments and equipment.
- Document calibration results and generate reports to ensure traceability.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and adjust equipment as necessary.
- Maintain a detailed log of calibration activities, including any adjustments made to the equipment.
- Ensure all instruments are functioning within the manufacturer's specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Work collaboratively with the engineering and quality assurance teams to maintain high standards of accuracy.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and industry best practices during calibration procedures.
- Stay updated on calibration techniques and new industry technologies.
Requirements:
- Technical diploma or certification in electronics, instrumentation, or a related field.
- Experience with calibration procedures and working knowledge of relevant industry standards.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with calibration software and Microsoft Office tools.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel
- Candidates with 1-2 years' experience atleast are encouraged to apply
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
