Production Manager Assistant (REF: ZL)

Summary:
The Assistant Production Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing production operations to ensure the efficient, timely, and cost-effective manufacturing of goods while maintaining quality standards and achieving production targets.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and schedule production based on orders, capacity, and resources.
• Lead the Production Department to meet company goals.
• Supervise daily operations, support staff, and report to management.
• Implement and monitor QMS, EMS, safety, 5S, and Lean Manufacturing.
• Manage staff performance and career development.
• Improve production metrics such as yield, scrap, and customer claims.
• Ensure efficient use of manpower and resources to meet targets.
• Maintain inventory, WIP, and work order management.
• Enforce safety, environmental, and compliance standards.
• Develop and implement SOPs for production.

Additional Responsibilities (Lamination):

• Ensure quality and efficiency in the lamination process.
• Maintain product traceability and equipment usage records.
• Collaborate with Engineering to resolve process issues.

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma with production experience.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and ISO standards.
• Experience in Injection Molding or Lamination is a plus.
• Strong communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Must comply with policies and safety procedures.
• Valid driver’s license and own vehicle required.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM7,500.00 per month
