Job Description :-

The following job duties are general requirements and are not to be considered all-inclusive. Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned by superior from time to time, as needed.

To ensure switch board, electrical equipment and wiring system are regularly serviced and maintained.
To regularly monitor relevant clean and services (MSB, SSB, ACB, MCCB and other electrical part).Supervises motor, pump, production line equipment ,lighting ,power fault finding of power breakdown and troubleshooting any problem related to the electrical or wiring system.
To planning relevant test (insulation test, polarity test, earth test, etc)on switch board capacitor bank, wiring/cable and etc.
To install, test and commission additional electrical equipment.
To monitor electricity loads and monthly consumption.
To liaise / coordinate with electrical contractor on major repair/maintenance works and factory expansion project.
To ensure electrical installation complies with the Electricity Supply Act & Electricity Regulation.
Responsible to perform equipment filing system effectively and plan for
shutdown job list.
Ensures that all safety, environmental and health rules and guidelines are being adhered to at all times to maintain an accident-free, healthy and clean environment at the workplace.
Identifies the works assigned which one so planned and scheduled and which one requires immediate action (unplanned).Reviews the issued Work Order and the work plan prepared by the Maintenance Planner and prepares for execution.
Directs assigned electrician in performing approved electrical/instrumentation maintenance work to meet work specifications and quality standards for each job.
Ensure job completion and quality by frequency and directly checking jobs in progress and having craftsman present when checking job completions. Visits each job site at least twice and major jobs more often.

Discussing with the craftsmen the importance of the assigned job and to review results of actions taken.
Instructing the craftsmen to do the job with the best method, materials, tools and equipment required.
Spending the majority (about 70%) of time on the floor with the crew, counseling and helping them.
Helping to troubleshoot any technical problem encountered during the execution of work.
Ensuring the work area is safe and with the relevant safe work permits in place.
Ensures the availability of essential electrical /instrumentation spare parts and other mechanical maintenance materials by monitoring the inventory.
Ensure also that the parts and materials issued for use are of good condition
Records all data about work done into SAP PM and informs the Maintenance Planner of the completed job.
Highlight and assist in updating the relevant technical data (especially the maintenance records) whenever there is a change.
Provides feedbacks on electrical /instrumentation maintenance work, technical problems, materials tools and equipment to the managers and planner for improvement of future performances and eliminating failures and errors.
Perform tasks in SAP, i.e. issue WO, PR etc.
