Production Roasting Team Member

The Production Roasting Team Member will assist in the daily coffee production process, supporting the Roaster with tasks such as maintaining equipment, managing green bean inventory, and ensuring smooth production flow. This role is ideal for someone detail-oriented, with a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn. Prior coffee or roasting experience is not required, but a passion for the craft is a bonus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Production Support
• Assist the Roaster with day-to-day production activities.
• Prepare batches, load and unload green coffee, and keep the production area organized.

• Green Bean Handling
• Receive, organize, and store green coffee beans.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate when supplies are low.

• Equipment Maintenance
• Support in the cleaning and routine maintenance of roasting and packaging equipment.
• Report any equipment issues to the Roaster for timely resolution.

• Packaging and Shipping
• Package roasted coffee beans, ensuring quality and consistency.
• Assist with labeling, sealing, and preparing shipments for delivery.

• Safety and Compliance
• Follow all safety protocols in handling equipment and materials.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Willingness to learn and contribute to a team.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, such as lifting heavy bags of coffee beans.
• Good attention to detail and time management.
• Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills.
• Basic computer skills are a plus.
• English proficiency is required.

Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM2,500.00 per month
