In this role, you will be involved in:
Sales and Customers Service
Maintains a profitable and reputable operations by:
- Ensure sales growth and planning on achieving their sales plans.
- Managing controllable store expenses for profitability.
- Provides fast, friendly service.
- Responds pro-actively to prevent and resolve customer service situations.
- Conducts and evaluates customer surveys.
- Works with District manager and Corporate Office to generate sales volume growth
So as to meet and exceed sales target, and surpass customer’s expectations on each occasion.
Store Operations
Maintains an efficient and a smooth operation and work environment by:
- Planning business results and market situations.
- Approval of Assistant manager and team leaves applications.
- Benchmarks outlets to create a competitive environment.
- Maintaining good result for outlet performance.
- Enforces health and safety rules.
- Conducts monthly operations meeting and formal/informal group discussion.
- Managing in daily loss and waste prevention and innovations.
- Ensures all operational and personnel paperwork is accurate, complete and submitted on time.
- Ensures adequate manpower every station
- Interviews, recruits and hires qualified candidates.
- Identifies area for improvement.
- Maintains adequate inventory.
- Managing overall outlets expenses as a whole.
- Managing and maintains labour cost.
- Managing proper usage of equipment.
- Recommends methods to help build customer base and company expansion.
- Organizes staff for every new promo
- Ensure stock take done accurately by weekly / Monthly
- Responsible for outlet management supervision including but not limited to directing of management team, corrective counselling and issuing management evaluations.
- Works with Assistant Manager and team to improve problem areas in the outlets.
- Take part of catering, events and functions.
- Assists any work station as and when required.
So as to create an environment conducive for attaining monthly sales targets.
Employee Development
Retain and groom staff by:
- Adheres to all counselling and discipline procedures.
- Provides assistance in developing potential Assistant Managers and Management Trainees through appropriate delegation and development plans.
- Evaluates all store employees on an on-going basis.
- Leads by example.
- Manages the development and performance in store employees.
- Motivates staff to maintain and serve consistent quality products every time.
- Orientating and oversees the training of new recruits to the outlets.
- Perpetuates company philosophy and culture.
- Provides recommendations for promotions.
So as to develop and motivate the employees.
Product Knowledge
Delivers a consistent quality product by:
- Continuing educates all team member on all products and services.
- Maintains the highest quality, consistent product standards.
- Ensure memorize the SOP and facilitating monthly re-certification process.
So as to maintain the highest standards of products of the Gula Group stands for.
Store Presentation
Maintains a comfortable, conducive outlet by:
- Ensures that the store is clean & well merchandised.
- Enforces guidelines on music.
- Enforces visual presentation plan & standards.
So as to provide a warm and inviting environment in which our customers can enjoy
their world class coffee or food.
Qualifications:
- Diploma/Degree in any field.
- Minimum 2-5 years’ experience at the same level preferably in the F&B industry.
- Must be willing to travel
- Familiar with P&L
- Good analytical skills
- An eye for details
- Good communication skills
- A team player with good leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Articulate and able to communicate effectively across all functions and levels.
- Able to adapt to organizational changes and able to work under pressure.
- Responsible, reliable, independent and has sense of urgency.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM3,799.00 per month
