Job Title: Accounts Executive (Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable)

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Executive to join our Finance team and contribute to the smooth and efficient financial operations of the school.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Accounts Receivable & Payable Management:
Manage and oversee daily accounts receivable and accounts payable functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accurate records of all transactions.
- Monthly Accounts Closing:
Assist in monthly accounts closing activities, ensuring all financial records are up to date and accurate. Work closely with the Finance team to ensure all transactions are recorded in a timely manner.
- Issue Resolution:
Identify and resolve discrepancies in client billing and accounts. Liaise with clients to address billing issues, providing excellent customer service while ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Sales Collections & Invoicing:
Manage daily sales collections, ensuring timely issuance of invoices, debit notes, and credit notes according to company policies. Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure proper invoicing and receipts.
- Stakeholder Collaboration:
Work with various departments and external stakeholders to resolve issues related to invoice issuance and receipt, ensuring smooth operations across the finance team.
- Finance Team Support:
Provide support to the Finance Manager and assist in related tasks as needed. Contribute to process improvements and help implement new systems or software within the department.
What We're Looking For:
- Qualifications:
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 – 5 years of experience in an Accounts Executive or similar finance role.
- Skills & Experience:
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and financial regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Autocount, MYOB, or similar.
- Experience with accounts receivable, accounts payable, and bank reconciliation.
- Demonstrated ability to resolve discrepancies and billing issues.
- Familiarity with invoicing, sales collections, and credit control processes.
- Personal Attributes:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, colleagues, and management.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage time efficiently.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM4,800.00 per month
