The Assistant Sales Manager (Personal Loan) supports and assists the sales team in achieving personal loan sales targets. The role involves client relationship management, lead generation, cross-selling financial products, and ensuring high customer satisfaction. This position requires strong communication skills, a customer-focused approach, and a comprehensive understanding of personal loan products.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Target Achievement
- Assist in achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual personal loan sales targets.
- Support the Sales Manager in developing sales strategies to expand the client base.
- Monitor and report individual and team sales performance to ensure targets are met.
2. Customer Acquisition & Relationship Management
- Identify and target potential clients for personal loan products.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Provide personalized financial guidance and recommend suitable loan options to clients.
3. Lead Generation & Pipeline Management
- Generate leads through various channels, including outbound calls, online inquiries, and referrals.
- Ensure the sales pipeline is active and track lead conversions.
- Coordinate with marketing and other teams to organize lead generation campaigns.
4. Product Knowledge & Promotion
- Maintain an up-to-date understanding of personal loan products, interest rates, terms, and regulatory requirements.
- Educate potential clients about loan products and cross-sell other bank products like credit cards and insurance when appropriate.
- Ensure clients receive a consistent and compliant experience with all products.
5. Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure all loan applications adhere to the company's policies and regulatory guidelines.
- Perform initial risk assessments on loan applications to ensure client eligibility and creditworthiness.
- Follow up on overdue accounts and support the collections team when necessary.
6. Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare regular sales reports and submit them to the Sales Manager for review.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records and loan documentation.
- Assist in data entry, paperwork, and any necessary administrative duties related to loan processing.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience: 2+ years in a sales role within financial services, preferably in personal loans or consumer lending.
- Skills:
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of personal loan products and lending practices.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
