  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Detail job scope:

Maintenance Coordination and Documentation

  • Scheduling assistant and administration of documentation related to preventive maintenance

Support for asset management

  • Tracking assets, monitoring equipment performance, and updating inventory and spare parts records
  • Updates on Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)

Data analysis

  • Compiling and analyzing building management system (BMS) data on energy usage, rotational efficiency and facility costs and budget

Procurement related

  • Assist in tracking and reporting on facility/project procurement, purchase orders, and invoices

Vendor Relations

  • Support on vendor search, developing scope of works and technical specification
  • Communicating with service providers for repairs, maintenance and supplies

Sustainability related

  • Assisting with sustainability tasks and project planning, attend to related meetings with SSS Leader

Interns may gain exposure to facility management, learn to manage resources efficiently, and understand the importance of compliance in operational facilities. The role provides strong foundation for future positions in facilities, operations, and project management.

This assignment will be based at IKEA Supply (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd Distribution Centre in Pulau Indah, Port Klang, Malaysia.
