  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Our client, a leading company in freight forwarding with over 30 years in the market, is hiring an experienced Sales Manager for their Johor Bahru branch. In this role, you will drive the company’s sales strategy, manage the sales team, and ensure that revenue targets are met.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily activities of the Sales team, ensuring high productivity to meet individual and team sales targets.
  • Develop and implement strategies for Sales and Business Development, including KPIs and sales initiatives.
  • Expand market share by continuously growing the client base and identifying new business opportunities to drive revenue growth.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key accounts while managing the assigned portfolio.
  • Take full responsibility for the development and growth of the Sales Department.
  • Lead and manage the team by setting clear tasks, objectives, strategies, targets, and goals.
  • Stay informed on regulatory changes, customer needs, and competitor activities within the freight forwarding and logistics sectors.
  • Collaborate closely with headquarters to align on service offerings, pricing structures, and operational guidelines.
  • Prepare and submit reports on overall business performance and activities.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of a Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Higher Diploma, or Graduate Diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience, preferably within the logistics or freight forwarding industry.
  • Proficiency in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin.
