Marketing and Social Media Intern

As a Social Media Marketing Intern, you will assist in the management and growth of our social media presence across various platforms. You will work closely with the marketing team to create and implement social media strategies, create content, and engage with our audience to enhance brand awareness and drive engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Content Creation:
• Assist in creating engaging and creative content for social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, and others.
• Develop visual content such as graphics, videos, and photos.
• Write compelling copy for posts, ensuring alignment with the brand voice and message
• Campaign Support:
• Assist in the planning and execution of social media campaigns and promotions.
• Track and report on the performance of social media campaigns using analytics tools.
• Help in the coordination of giveaways, contests, and other promotional activities.
• Market Research:
• Conduct research on industry trends, competitor activities, and audience preferences to inform content strategy.
• Stay updated with the latest social media best practices and technologies.
• Administrative Tasks:
• Assist in maintaining an organized database of social media assets and content.
• Support the marketing team with other administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
• Familiarity with major social media platforms and their best practices.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic graphic design skills and experience with design tools such as Canva, Adobe Photoshop, or Capcut
• Creativity and ability to generate engaging content ideas.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Basic video editing skills.
• Not camera shy
• Knowledge of SEO and content marketing principles.
• Understanding of social media analytics and reporting.

Pay: RM700.00 per month
