Key Responsibilities:

1. Vehicle Maintenance and Management

2. Fleet Operations:

Monitor vehicle usage and performance, optimizing routes and schedules to improve efficiency.
Manage fleet inventory, including tracking vehicle availability and ensuring timely replacement of aging or damaged vehicles.
Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and regulatory standards.

3. Driver Supervision:

Supervise and support drivers, including training new drivers and providing ongoing development.
Monitor driver performance, including adherence to safety regulations and company policies.
Address any driver-related issues or concerns promptly and effectively.

4. Budgeting and Cost Control:

Develop and manage the fleet budget, including expenditures for fuel, maintenance, and repairs.
Analyze and report on fleet costs and look for opportunities to reduce expenses.
Negotiate with vendors and service providers to achieve cost savings.

5. Compliance and Safety:

Ensure all vehicles and drivers comply with federal, state, and local regulations.
Implement and enforce safety procedures and protocols.
Conduct regular safety audits and implement corrective actions as needed.

6. Reporting and Analysis:

Generate and analyze reports on fleet performance, including utilization, costs, and maintenance.
Provide insights and recommendations to management for improving fleet operations.
Prepare and present regular reports on fleet status and performance metrics.
