  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.

  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the design and creation of functional prototype / product based on customer interest / drawing, offering solutions that exceed customer expectations.
  • Follow through and coordinate prototype / product submissions with relevant personnel for approval, and thereafter into all stakeholders in transition of new product from prototype / product to mass production.
  • Responsible for leading and resolving technical queries and issues from all stakeholders.
  • Conduct product feasibility, DFM, costing and capacity study for product ideas and manage the budget requirements for projects.
  • Improve yields and cost of product by implementing process re-design or design enhancement / modification.
  • Support operational activities or tasks as assigned by Superior.
  • Work closely with sales team in aspects of technical service for new or existing customer development by preparing samples, generating data report as per test requirements and carrying out cost study on new project enquiry.
  • Work closely with suppliers on finding new type of plastic materials, films, adhesives, resins, inks and etc. that can offer technical and commercial advantages.
  • Create and maintain a project timeframe that takes into account all technical aspects to be set and progress to be monitored closely.
  • Develop and take responsibility on preparing documents for hand over new product developments to production upon part approval.
  • Work on development of new products for customers, by carrying out technical studies, conducting pilot trials and carrying out reliability testing to fulfill technical requirements.

Requirements:

  • A Master’s or Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Science or equivalent.
  • Preferably with 1-2 years in Product Development (R&D) or manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge or experience with CNC fabrication, In-Mold Labelling, Screen Printed Nameplates, Light Guided Plates and trouble-shooting will be an advantage.
  • Familiar with the entire product development cycle and possess current knowledge of technological advancements to implement during the engineering phase.
  • An innovative self-motivated and team player with ability to lead and initiate changes for improvement.
