  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

JOB SUMMARY:

  • Supervision and active hands-on maintenance activities which include mechanical/ electrical and electronic issues to ensure a continuous production in the extrusion and converting departments.
  • The maintenance specialist works in close cooperation with the production.

JOB RESPONSIBILITY:

  • Carry out day to day maintenance repair works and operation activities
  • Advice the technician trouble-shoot failure on machinery / equipment and resume back to production at earliest possible.
  • Implement preventive scheduling, methods and actions to ensure that machineries,
  • Facilities and the equipment are being monitored in good conditions.
  • Conduct theoretical and functional studies in all facilities, new machinery equipment.
  • Develop alternative solution source and provide maintenance modification cost.
  • Liaise with Office Manager relating to purchasing of parts and supplies for the maintenance and repair works.
  • Assist in providing training to technician in carrying out good working practice, maintenance knowledge etc.
  • Liaise with Production Department in modifications, repairs, trouble shooting and other related matters.
  • Response to call during off hours by authorized production personnel, provide possible solution and / or attend the problem on-site.
  • Maintain good housekeeping and safety practice at worksite and workshop
  • Liaise with the relevant government authorities pertaining to the security and facilities matters

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechatronics.
  • Good knowledge/ understanding in mechanical/ electrical and electronic issues.
  • Five years of experience in related field required with supervisory experience a plus.
  • Experience in blown film extrusion technology is requested.
  • Hands on in machine trouble shooting of extrusion and converting lines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong trouble shooting skills.
  • Proven record in training employees about safety and production.
  • Strong working knowledge of Schedule Waste Handling and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations.
  • Ability to coach and motivate employees.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
