MAIN JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibilities :
1. Facilities Management
- Operational Oversight
- Manage daily operations of M&E systems, ensuring efficient functioning of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems within the banquet hall and activity center.
- Implement and oversee energy management programs to reduce consumption and costs.
- Budget and Resource Management
- Develop and manage the annual budget for M&E operations, maintenance, and improvements.
- Allocate resources effectively to optimize performance and minimize downtime.
- Vendor Management
- Coordinate with external contractors and service providers for maintenance and repair work.
- Negotiate service contracts and monitor vendor performance to ensure quality service delivery.
- Risk Management
- Conduct risk assessments to identify potential issues and develop contingency plans.
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards to mitigate risks associated with M&E systems.
2. Maintenance Planning and Execution
- Preventive Maintenance
- Develop and implement a preventive maintenance schedule for all M&E equipment and systems, including HVAC, lighting, and power supply.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure systems are in optimal condition.
- Corrective Maintenance
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and troubleshoot issues to restore systems to full functionality.
- Analyze recurring issues and implement solutions to prevent future breakdowns.
- System Upgrades and Repairs
- Plan and execute system upgrades or retrofits to improve efficiency and comply with updated regulations.
- Supervise repair activities and ensure all work is performed to standard specifications.
3. Energy Management and Sustainability
- Energy Efficiency Initiatives
- Identify and implement energy-saving measures to reduce the facility’s carbon footprint.
- Monitor energy usage and generate reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Sustainable Practices
- Incorporate sustainable practices into facility operations, such as waste reduction and recycling programs.
- Evaluate new technologies and materials that promote environmental sustainability.
4. Safety and Compliance
- Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure that all M&E systems comply with local and national safety regulations and building codes.
- Prepare and submit necessary documentation and reports for compliance audits.
- Safety Protocols
- Develop and enforce safety protocols to protect staff and visitors within the facility.
- Conduct safety training sessions for staff to enhance awareness and preparedness.
5. Communication and Reporting
- Stakeholder Communication
- Liaise with mosque management, staff, and users to communicate maintenance activities and address concerns.
- Provide technical guidance and support to the facilities management team.
- Reporting
- Prepare regular reports on maintenance activities, system performance, and energy usage for review by management.
- Document all maintenance and repair work for future reference and planning.
6. Project Management
- Renovation and Improvement Projects
- Plan and oversee projects related to facility enhancements, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
- Coordinate with contractors and stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Resource Coordination
- Organize and manage resources required for project execution, including labor, materials, and equipment.
Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 9 months
Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM2,700.00 per month
