Key Responsibilities
Payroll Administration
- Oversee end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring timely and accurate payroll disbursement, including bonuses, deductions, and adjustments.
- Prepare and maintain payroll-related reports and compliance records.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements such as EPF, SOCSO, EIS, and income tax.
Employee Counseling and Support
- Provide counseling and guidance to employees to support their professional development and well-being.
- Address employee grievances and concerns promptly and effectively to maintain a positive work environment.
Staff Management and Supervision
- Support line managers in handling day-to-day HR-related issues, including performance management, attendance tracking, and team communication.
- Conduct regular check-ins with team members to understand their challenges and opportunities for improvement.
Disciplinary Management
- Implement and oversee disciplinary actions in compliance with company policies and labor laws.
- Conduct investigations into disciplinary matters, ensuring fair and consistent handling of employee cases.
Industrial Relations (IR)
- Handle all industrial relations matters, including managing employee grievances and disputes.
- Ensure compliance with relevant labor laws and industrial relations practices.
- Work with union representatives when necessary and assist in collective bargaining agreements.
Government Liaison
- Act as the main point of contact with government authorities regarding HR and labor compliance issues.
- Ensure company compliance with local labor laws and regulations, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of changes in laws affecting HR practices.
Performance Management
- Drive initiatives to improve employee morale and satisfaction, fostering a positive workplace culture.
HR Reporting and Analytics
- Prepare and analyze HR metrics and reports on areas such as turnover, attendance, and employee performance.
- Use data insights to support decision-making and improve HR practices
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in HR, preferably in a Senior Executive or similar capacity.
- Strong knowledge of payroll administration, labor laws, industrial relations (IR), and HR best practices.
- Familiarity with InfoTech HR systems or similar HR information systems, with the ability to effectively use and navigate HR-related software.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters with discretion.
- Certification in Human Resource (e.g., SHRM, CIPD) is an advantage.
- Organize events and activities that promote teamwork and employee engagement.
- Support and administer the performance review process, including setting goals, tracking performance, and identifying development needs.
- Assist in implementing training programs to support employee growth and organizational goals.
Job Type: Permanent
Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
