Role Purpose
Plan and manage assigned solution or portfolio on technology requirements, IT Support (incidents and problem management), and IT Service Management to support business operations of the business in performing the respective business and operational functions
Key Accountability
- Oversee PSS Amadeus and Navitaire system capabilities to support MAG business and product healthiness
- Strategic: Collaborate with business units for the realization of Technology Plan and projects based on industry best practise to drive operational cost efficiency and meeting business objectives espcially for revenue
- Strategic: Provide advisory and guidance for the utilization of PSS solution to ensure adoption of PSS as the main reference for customer services management and facilitation of day-to-day passenger operations whilst ensuring effectve cost structure of running PSS platform
- Operational: Working closely with the solution partner and application support team to deliver the intended solution for the business
- Operational: Sustain technology services provisioning and its SLA to meet day-to-day operational requirements including application designing and implementation, and all IT procurement processes (devices, services and projects) for the business unit by complying to applicable governance including maintaining a reliable aircraft maintenance record systems support.
- Organisation & People: Being experts in testing, the test team work closely with the business and core team to define all test scripts and scenarios for all test cycles. It is beneficial if the test team have a broad spectrum of process expertise so they are able to cover the majority of the business processes with ease
Qualification & Experience
- Degree in any related field with 4 years experience in Information Technology
- Master in Business Administration or Process Engineering or IT/Computer Science with 4 years experience in Aviation industry
Skills & Knowledge
- Business Analyst or System Development Life Cycle
Financial and Investment Analyst (Business Case Development)
Programme Management (of multiple concurrent dependant projects)
Basic understanding of the business unit operating environment
Key Challenges
- To keep abreast with the latest available technologyfor adoption by the business through a structured change management programme to sustain business competitiveness
- Number of processes and variations acrss the overall airline business with limited number of resources to provide a full advisory support
- To keep the business relevant in the eyes of other partners to derive the best value proposition from the service providers in term of financial and value added services offering at optimal cost to the Group
