Position Summary

Integration Engineer (API) plays a critical role in bridging different software systems and services by designing, implementing, and maintaining effective API integrations. This position requires strong technical expertise in API development, data exchange protocols, and system architecture. The API Integration Engineer collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and ensure seamless integration solutions. Work closely with the Digital Team in building the next generation of digital touchpoints and back office applications

Key Accountability

  • Design, Build, Test all integration patterns via API, Real Time integration, event driven, MFT, ETL, B2B EDI.
  • Own detailed technical design and ensure high performing, scalable API’s and Interfaces are delivered. Implement RESTful, SOAP, or other API protocols based on project requirements.
  • On time delivery and real quality.
  • Perform reviews of Integration Solution Design, Technical Design, RAML, topic taxonomy and quality of API / Event documents
  • Work with Integration Platform team for enhancing the API Platform capabilities
  • Responsible to publish and maintain API Documentations on portal.
  • Communicate efficiently the integration pattern to stakeholders e.g. product manager, development manager, platform architect, business analyst, business units

Qualification & Working Experience

  • Minimum Bachelor Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent with 4-5 years working experience in an industry related to integration development lifecycle
