Laundry Attendant (Housekeeping) - Hotel

Job Descriptions:

1. Sort and process all linens and laundry by color, material, and soiling level, ensuring effective cleaning and handling.

2. Inspect all linens and guest laundry for damage or stains, recording any items needing special attention.

3. Operate laundry equipment (washers, dryers, folding machines) following safety and manufacturer guidelines.

4. Use and store chemicals correctly, adhering to safety standards and minimizing waste.

5. Fold and neatly store all cleaned linens, maintaining an organized and efficient linen room.

6. Provide timely and careful laundry services for guests, handling items to prevent any damage.

7. Track and maintain inventory of linens, promptly reporting any shortages or damages.

8. Report equipment issues or maintenance needs to supervisors for timely repair.

9. Adhere to resort policies on guest privacy, lost and found procedures, and safety.

10. Assist with urgent guest requests and collaborate with the housekeeping team to ensure efficient service.

Job Requirements:

1. Minimum 1 year of experience in laundry or housekeeping.

2. High school diploma (SPM or equivalent).

3. Familiar with basic laundry equipment and cleaning products.

4. Physically fit with good stamina for manual tasks.

5. Ability to work independently, follow instructions, and meet quality standards.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to RM3,500.00 per month
