Job Summary
The Support Specialist role is responsible for ensuring availability and reliability of all production applications aligned with his/her subset of applications within a line of business supported by his manager.

Skills and Experience
- IBM Mainframe tools
- IBM JCL/CICS/COBOL/VSAM
- Control-M
- JAVA & API
- ITIL
Qualifications
- At least Bachelor of Science in Computer Science/Information Technology & related fields
- Strong technical knowledge in IBM tools like CICS, COBOL, JCL, VSAM, and mainframe development related tools.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in mainframe applications development and/or production supports.
- At least 3 years’ experience interacting with internal and external users via verbal and written communication.
- Excellent prioritization, organizational and time management skills.
- Demonstrate strong problem solving skills and analytical in problem resolution.
- Team player, fast learner, self initiative and reliable.
- The position will require candidate to be on standby support for non-office hour online or batch incidents.
- Programming knowledge in Java/API will be added advantage.
- Nice to have:
- ITIL certificates
- Prior experience in Production Support Services
- Experience in Banking domain applications
