The successful candidate will operate deburring and polishing machines, including grit blasting, tumbling, sand belting, drag polishing, and ultrasonic cleaning. They will follow procedures and work instructions, ensure timely equipment maintenance, and conduct visual inspections and inspections using manual gauges to ensure quality.

What will you be doing?

• The role involves performing various machining tasks, including deburring and polishing, while ensuring product identification, traceability, and quality. Responsibilities include conducting line clearance, setting up and operating deburring equipment, and performing visual checks on components. The candidate should be able to handle transactions on SAP, maintain timely product delivery, and contribute to a safe and productive work environment by adhering to 5S practices. Additionally, they will be encouraged to support tasks assigned by superiors.

• The position also emphasizes training and continuous improvement, where the successful candidate will participate in safety practices, process improvement initiatives, and cross-functional tasks as needed. This includes maintaining 5S on the shop floor, supporting Kaizen teams, and completing necessary documentation and training. They will be required to handle tasks in various areas, such as finishing, material deployment, and quality, to improve overall production efficiency.

What will you need to be successful?

• The ideal candidate should have a high school education or equivalent, with experience in a machining manufacturing environment preferred. They should possess steady hand skills for precise handwork, and prior experience in metal removal, polishing, and visual inspection processes is advantageous.

• Key competencies include proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English, quick information assimilation, and strong decision-making abilities. The role requires physical capability to lift materials of different weights, as well as frequent activities like carrying, reaching, bending, and standing, involving the use of hands, wrists, and upper extremities.
