Job Overview
The Junior Information Technology Tender Specialist will assist in the tendering process for IT projects and services. This role is ideal for individuals looking to build their career in IT procurement and vendor management. The successful candidate will support senior team members in preparing and managing tenders, conducting market research, and ensuring compliance with internal processes.
Key Responsibilities
Tender Support: Assist in the preparation and submission of tenders for IT services and solutions under the guidance of senior team members.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of tender documents, communications, and evaluation criteria.
Market Research: Conduct preliminary research on potential vendors and market trends to support tender development.
Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to gather requirements and assist in drafting tender specifications.
Compliance: Ensure that all documentation adheres to internal policies and regulatory requirements.
Communication: Support communication with vendors, answering queries, and assisting with presentations as needed.
Reporting: Help compile reports on tender progress and outcomes for internal stakeholders.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: Some experience in IT procurement, tender management, or a related area is preferred but not required (internships and academic projects count).
Technical Skills: Basic understanding of IT services, software, and hardware.
Communication Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly.
Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
