- Assist the Chef de Partie in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes.
- Follow recipes and plating standards to maintain consistency in quality and portion sizes.
- Prepare ingredients and mise en place for assigned sections.
- Ensure all dishes are prepared to the highest standards and meet the restaurant’s or hotel's quality expectations.
- Monitor food stock levels and freshness, reporting any shortages or spoilage to supervisors.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and kitchen equipment.
- Adhere to hygiene, sanitation, and safety standards in compliance with local health regulations.
- Assist in inventory control and stock management.
- Work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Requirements
- *Education:* Diploma in Culinary Arts or equivalent qualification (preferred).
- *Experience:* 1–3 years of experience in a professional kitchen environment.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From RM1,900.00 per month
