Mill Manager

Tasks & Responsibilities - Overseeing and manage the palm oil mill operations - Performance monitoring on production facilities, its machineries and equipment. - Ensure a healthy yields of Oil Extraction Rates & Kernel Extraction Rates inrelation to production targets and minimize wastages. - Initiate, identify and take appropriate action(s) on process areas for continuous improvement. - Planning and optimizing production, manpower planning. - Identifying potential staffs for human capital training, development and succession planning. - Ensure production is being carried out according to industry standard & compliance with regulatory requirements, all relevant statutory boards and government authorities for instant Jabatan Alam Sekitar Negeri Sabah (JAS) / Department of Environment (DOE), Lembaga Minyak Sawit Malaysia / Malaysian Palm Oil Board (MPOB) and Jabatan Keselamatan dan Kesihatan Pekerjaan Malaysia (JKKP) / Department of Safety and Health Malaysia (DOSH) and etc. - Maintaining good housekeeping and landscaping on the whole mill complex, machineries and equipment including regular inspection and scheduled preventive maintenance. - Checking regular reports and documentation as per MSPO requirements and other Certification Requirements related to varies departments. Qualifications & Experience - Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. - Must possess minimum 2nd Grade Steam Engineer certified by the Department of Safety and Health Malaysia – DOSH - Able to withstand working pressure and manage personal emotion in proper manner. - Willing to work extra hours whenever necessary. - Subjected to work by shifts whenever necessary. - Minimum of 10 years’ experience working as Palm Oil Mill Manager. - Developing a healthy working culture and environment among all employees. - Candidates with experience in managing EFB Composting Plant and Land Irrigation are encourage
