Project Manager (Banking - AI/ML)

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a squad lead for projects within the CoE, provide guidance and coordination to team members to achieve project objectives effectively and efficiently.
• Liaison between the AI/ML CoE and various functional teams within the organization to ensure clear communication and alignment of project requirements & objectives.
• Manage project scope, budget, and timelines, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
• Foster collaboration between CoE members and functional teams, encouraging knowledge sharing, brainstorming sessions and cross-functional problem-solving to drive innovation and project success.
• Manage relationships with stakeholders from both the CoE and functional teams, keeping them informed of project progress, soliciting feedback, and escalating issues as necessary to ensure timely resolution.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, business, or related field.
• Knowledge of AI/ML technologies, methodologies and best practices & experience working in the banking or financial services industry preferred.
• Proven experience in working with business and technical teams, preferably with project management experience.
• Effective time management and prioritization skills & ability to foster a positive and inclusive work culture.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred & certification or training in Agile methodologies (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster) is a plus.
• Exceptional leadership and team-building skills 7 strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills & detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and integrity.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM10,000.00 - RM12,000.00 per month
