We are a global operations team supporting the financial markets business by providing operations solutions
in foreign exchange, rates, commodities, credit markets, and financing and securities services. We operate in
40 countries and employ some 3000 colleagues globally. Our mission is to support financial markets to

RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategy
- Taking the lead in resolving confirmation/settlement related issues
- Involve in capacity planning of determine the production capacity needed in a day to meet the changing demands of job allocation
- Prioritizes and schedule dept. workload accordingly to meet volume peaks & troughs.
- Organizes leave coverage to ensure adequate resources for work continuity in dept.
- Communicates own work plan issues and escalates potential “Bottlenecks’ to Line Managers
Business
- Manage one or multiple processes through a team of Operations Officers, handle escalations/errors and in addition may manage selected projects
- To maintain good business relationship with Front Office
- Taking the lead in resolving confirmation/settlement related issues.
- Constant review of DOI to ensure updating of process procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Processes
- To facilitate treasury operations for FXMM asset classes in a prompt and efficient manner
- Understands the various product booking models & able to perform End-to-end operation processing for Foreign Exchanged and Money Market products.
- Daily tasks including:
- Confirmation generation, dispatch, matching, chasing, reporting and client servicing.
- Affirming cashflow and settlement instruction, payment releasing and EOD controls.
- Investigation on GL Suspense and Nostro accounts’ imbalances
- Construction of manual confirmations or payments may be required in some instances
- Ensure timely resolution of internal & external customer queries.

- Ensuring adequate resources (quantity and quality) are available to meet pre- determined business Service Level Agreements (SLA’s) and ultimately satisfy customers

- To guide junior analysts in the day-to-day BAU functions within the Department for Foreign Exchanged and Money Market products.
- To assist the Manager in running of all Department BAU functions for all relevant asset classes including confirmation, settlement, exceptions processing, MIS reporting, control & risk mitigation, project & people management
Risk Management
- Constant review of DOI to ensure updating of process procedures
- Identify errors and omissions resulting from routine process actions and able to investigate & promptly resolve GL Suspense and Nostro accounts’ imbalances & breaks.
- Target to decrease processing errors, both internal and external
- Timely escalate and record any exceptional cases.
- Ensure audit and risk control measures for BAU procedures and processes are adhered to.
- To ensure processes in compliance to the group standard
- Report any suspicious trades in accordance to the Anti-Money Laundering Policy

- Ensure fast turnaround time in responding to queries raised by parties within or outside the bank

Qualifications
- Degree or Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
- Minimum 6 years relevant experience in banking operation
