MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee the purchasing process from requisition to delivery ensuring cost effective procurement.
- Source for good and reliable suppliers, establish good business relationships.
- Negotiate and close deals with optimal terms.
- Handling Monthly Rebates compilation.
- Monitor and place orders on sold items which are not in stock/out of stock.
- To closely monitor delivery dates of all outstanding orders with vendors especially on those urgent deliveries order.
- Ensure all supporting documents are intact upon submission of any invoices to account department for payment.
- Closely monitor and follow up on all outstanding Return to Vendors (RTV) and ensure all supporting documents are intact upon submission to accounts department.
- Generate and furnish all necessary reports on timely manner to the General Manager and Operations Manager.
- Create SKU and key into the system all relevant information’s with relation to any and all new products.
- Inform all Store Managers on all information’s related to all new products including SKU no, price, expected arrival date of shipment and etc.
REQUIREMENTS
- Degree/ Diploma or equivalent in any related field.
- Minimum of 3-4 years’ experience in purchasing. Those with experience with HVACR products preferred.
- Commercial sense and good negotiation skills.
- Good communications in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and AutoCount system.
