Responsibility:-
Assistant Operation Manager supports the hotel operation manager by overseeing daily operations and supervising staff.
And responsible for the day-to-day running of a hotel, including ensuring quality standards and guest satisfaction.
Need to oversee many departments, including reception, housekeeping, maintenance, and other related operations
Some of their responsibilities include:
- Staff management : Supervising and mentoring the team, conducting training sessions, and leading daily briefings
- Guest service : Handling guest requests, complaints, and special needs, and ensuring prompt resolution
- Inter-departmental coordination : Ensuring seamless coordination between departments, and assisting with luggage and arrivals/departures
- Documentation : Creating and updating documentation of all department processes and policies
- Performance monitoring : Monitoring the performance of the staff and addressing areas for improvement
- Guest preferences : Maintaining records of guest preferences and assisting with special events
