Opportunity

We are looking for a Software Engineer in Test to join our team and play a critical role in building a new test framework from scratch, helping us migrate the existing tests and improve the quality processes. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining test automation framework, working closely with developers and stakeholders to ensure the quality and functionality of our software.

Your responsibilities

• Design and develop a new test automation framework from scratch.

• Focus on API test automation using libraries like Rest Assured.

• Investigate and troubleshoot bugs identified through automated tests.

• Develop and enhance CI/CD integration as part of day-to-day operations.

• Share ideas and recommendations for improving QA processes and the test automation framework.

• Perform manual testing for both UI and API as part of the automate everything approach.

What you bring to the table

• 2-5 years of experience with Java and good understanding of data structures and algorithms.

• Strong experience in API testing using Rest-Assured.

• Experience with Selenium

• Experience with Postman or similar API testing tools.

• Familiarity with SQL and working with relational databases.

• Experience with Git or other version control tools.

• Improve CI/CD tools integration/operations, and full automation of CI/testing with tools like Azure, Jenkins, GitHub.

• Proficiency in TestNG and other test automation frameworks.

• Knowledge of Test Automation Framework Design Patterns.

• Experience with Jira & Confluence

• Experience in creating Automation Frameworks from scratch

• Ability to investigate bugs and problems caught by automated tests.

• Experience working closely with software developers to identify and resolve issues.

• Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of tasks.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Effective communication skills in both verbal and written English.
