Security Guard (Based In Triso)

PRIMARY OBJECTIVE: The Security Guard is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of premises, assets, and personnel which will be based at Triso, Sebuyau, Sarawak. This includes patrolling areas, monitoring surveillance equipment, and controlling access points. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent observation skills, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and secure environment. Patrol Duties: -Conduct regular patrols of designated areas. - Inspect buildings, gates, and perimeters to ensure security protocols are in place and to detect signs of unauthorized access or suspicious activity. Access Control: - Monitor and control entry and exit points for employees, visitors, and contractors. - Verify credentials and ensure compliance with security protocols. - Issue visitor badges and maintain accurate logs of visitors and deliveries. Surveillance: - Monitor security cameras and alarms to detect and respond to irregularities. - Report incidents or suspicious activity to the Security Manager or appropriate authorities. - Respond quickly to emergency situations, alarms, or disturbances, and provide assistance as needed. Incident Management: - Respond to incidents such as trespassing, theft, vandalism, and medical emergencies. - Write accurate and detailed reports of incidents, observations, and activities. - Cooperate with law enforcement or emergency personnel when needed. Safety Protocols: - Ensure compliance with safety and security policies, including OSHA standards and company protocols. - Conduct safety checks and report any hazards or risks within the premises. - Participate in training on security procedures, emergency responses, and safety protocols. Qualifications: - Education: Pass PMR / SPM - Experience: Previous experience in security or law enforcement is preferred. - Personality: Good discipline all the time. Skills: - Strong attention to detail and situational awareness. - Good communication and report-writing skills.
