JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • To maintains high levels of cleanliness and presentation in rooms and public areas.
  • Responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of housekeeping department and laundry to ensure clean, orderly, and attractive conditions of the hotel.
  • Work with a team of cleaners to ensure that all areas of the building are properly cleaned and maintained on a regular basis.
  • Managing other aspects of the business, such as hiring new employees or training current staff members in new cleaning techniques.
  • Managing the purchasing and inventory of supplies for the housekeeping department.
  • Scheduling and arranging for cleaning services as needed, such as carpet cleaning or extermination services.
  • Coordinating with other departments to ensure that rooms are ready for guests upon check-in.
  • Reporting any maintenance issues to the appropriate staff member for resolution.
  • Preparing rooms for guests by dusting furniture, changing linens, and making beds.
  • Maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment, and other materials.
  • Maintaining a safe working environment for all employees by enforcing company policies and procedures.
  • To scheduling staffing to work, the number of the employees required to meet operational needs at specific occupancy levels.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Candidate must possess at least SPM / Diploma / Advanced
  • Extensive knowledge of housekeeping department.
  • Minimum 2 – 5 years experience in hospitality.
  • Possess good interpersonal skills.
  • Possess own transportation.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
