  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

To assist the Electrical Engineer by providing guidance and in-depth training to both direct and indirect reports. This position is essential during key operations such as FCE rebuilds, major plant shutdowns, and project site installations, with a strong emphasis on detailed planning and risk management.

  • Maintain a high level of safety throughout the execution of all normal routine maintenance, furnace rebuilds and Electrical plant projects including contractor management relating to safety requirements.
  • Planning, active participation and successful completion of all Electrical aspects of plant related maintenance projects and furnace rebuild projects.
  • To maintain, increase availability and enhance the performance of the plant and equipment through world class maintenance practices implementation
  • Actively mentor and coach the Assistant Manager Electrical Maintenance and snr Artisans. During plant projects and re-builds, coach them on industry standards pertaining to best practice maintenance methodology

  • DEPARTMENT: Engineering

  • REQUIREMENT:
    • A trade certificate (Electrician) obtained from an accredited training facility. Additional maintenance supervision qualification and/or courses attended
    • Minimum 15 years of working experience in a smelter maintenance environment. Forman/Specialist level supervision experience in maintenance and projects
