Quality Engineer

QA/QC Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Overall responsibility for QA & QC checks and compliance. Evaluate, implement, and improve quality processes.
• Drive and implement quality management systems and standards.
• Maintain all relevant documents related to ISO 9001, EN206, and SCI precast accreditation scheme certifications. Responsible for internal and external auditing.
• Prepare Project Quality Plan (PQP) for every new project and submit to the main contractor for consultant approval.
• Responsible for conducting trial mixes and maintaining daily test cube results.
• Submit monthly QAQC report (observations made at the site/precast yard) to managers. The report must include manpower used for site rectification works.
• Conduct weekly QAQC sharing sessions with the production/delivery team to guide them in improving the quality standard.
• Submit closure report for every consultant/HDB inspection at the precast yard/site, covering precast-related matters.
• Prepare method of statements (MOS) to repair all kinds of defects in the precast panels and get PE and consultant approval before execution.
• Responsible for the incoming and outgoing inspection of products and materials to ensure quality compliance. Arrange for routine material testing as per consultant's requirements.
• Maintain relationships and liaise with clients to follow up on quality issues.

Requirements:

• At least 2-3 years of working experience in the precast/construction field.
• Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Self-disciplined, a team player, and highly committed to the job.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM6,500.00 per month
