IT Support Engineer
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented IT Support Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, supporting, and optimizing IT infrastructure and providing first and second-level support to users across the organization. Key Responsibilities:
- User Assistance and Technical Support: Provide first and second-level IT support to resolve hardware, software, and network issues for employees, both on-site and remote.
- And Respond to incoming technical support requests via IT Ticket system, email or chat in a timely and professional manner.
- System Maintenance: Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktop systems, laptops, and other end-user equipment.
- Network Support: Assist in the setup and management of network resources, including routers, switches, firewalls, and Wi-Fi access points.
- Software Management: Assist with installing, updating, and troubleshooting software applications and managing licenses & assist with IT Procurement Process.
- Security Compliance: Monitor and enforce IT security standards, including patch management, antivirus updates, and access control.
- User and IT Asset Management : Track and manage IT hardware and software assets, ensuring proper documentation and inventory control. Manage user accounts, permissions, and passwords.
- Training: Conduct user training sessions and create guides to support the use of IT systems and tools.
Qualifications:
- Education: Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support, desktop support, or a similar role.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Windows and macOS operating systems, Microsoft Office 365, and Active Directory.
- Familiarity with network technologies (TCP/IP, VPNs, DNS, DHCP).
- Experience with ticketing systems and remote support tools.
Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills with a customer-service mindset.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
