Responsibilities
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
The primary responsibility of an Assembly Technical (Electro Mechanical Assembler) is build sub-assemblies that will be then integrated into complete systems. This position would be required to read detailed drawings and work instructions to successfully complete these assemblies. The ability to work well as part of a coordinated team is also a requirement.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Build precision electro mechanical assemblies to print
Improvement projects
Other product or process related projects
Qualifications
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Precision soldering skills preferably with IPC certification
Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word
Critical attention to minute details
Punctual and reliable
Mechanically inclined
Good communication skills verbally and written
Management may assign tasks requiring judgment in resolving issues or in making recommendations.
Good eyesight
Exceptional hand dexterity for small parts assembly
Ability to lift 50 pounds (~22kg) from floor to hip height
Alert to the environment to avoid hazards in the work place
Orderly, keeping work environment clean and organized
EDUCATIONAL/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of 3 years of experience building high level electro mechanical assemblies.
Minimum Diploma/Degree in Engineering; Mechatronic or Electromechanical preferred.
