Description


The role of Billing Manager is crucial in ensuring that activpayroll invoices correctly and on time for the valuable work that we do for our customers. Reporting to the Revenue Finance Manager, you will be responsible for managing a team of 2 billing assistants as well as having overall responsibility for the billing function which also includes UK-based staff. You will be accountable for monthly targets and for reporting against these to the wider business.


On a typical day, you’ll be…


  • Directing and managing the activities of the KL and UK billing teams to ensure that monthly and ad hoc billing processes and timetables are adhered to
  • Ensuring billing is completed to a high level of accuracy
  • Reporting performance of the billing team against targets
  • Monthly reporting of billed revenue against budgets and forecasts, with detailed explanations of discrepancies and anomalies

To be truly effective you will…


  • have experience of managing a small billing team in a busy and growing, multinational, multicurrency business
  • have the ability to get the best out of your team
  • have the ability to be prioritise and quickly respond to customer billing queries and collaborate with operations teams to ensure they are resolved
  • have excellent written and spoken English communication skills
  • have at least intermediate Excel skills (manipulating large data sets using e.g. XLOOKUP, pivot tables)
  • experience of NetSuite would be advantageous but full training will be provided
