Job Overview: The Barista is responsible for preparing and serving coffee, tea, and other beverages while providing excellent customer service. Beverage Preparation: • Prepare and serve a variety of espresso-based and specialty coffee beverages, teas, and other drinks. • Operate coffee equipment, including espresso machines, grinders, and brewing devices, following cafe standards. • Create latte art and customize drinks based on customer preferences. 2. Customer Service: • Greet customers warmly, take orders, and answer questions about the menu. • Provide recommendations based on customer preferences and dietary needs. • Handle complaints and special requests professionally, ensuring customer satisfaction. 3. Maintenance & Cleaning: • Maintain cleanliness in the cafe area, including workstations, equipment, tables, and floors. • Follow daily cleaning schedules and deep cleaning procedures for coffee equipment. • Ensure adherence to health and safety standards, including food safety regulations. 4. Inventory & Stock Management: • Monitor stock levels for coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other ingredients. • Restock items and notify the manager when inventory is low. • Assist with receiving and organizing deliveries. Qualifications: • Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar role is preferred but not required. • Knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and equipment.
