1. Develop, implement, monitor and review management systems to continually improve safety and health performance both within the workplace.
2. Responsible for leadership and development of professional safety and health subordinate ensure all safety and health programs, practices and controls are effectively implemented.
3. To organize and participate to all relevant Safety and Health Meetings.
4. To organize, plan and participate to periodical HSE walkabout, Inspections and Audits on site, prepare all the relevant reports, action plans, verify the follow up and the timely execution of the corrective action.
5. Develop Safety / Contingency Plans, Safety work procedures, safety programs and traffic management plan for the site.
6. To organize in case of work accidents a full investigation of the event, finalized to the identification of corrective measure to avoid reoccurrence.
7. Verify the adequacy and application of the Safety and Health Plan and Emergency response plan.
8. Interacting with operations to implement systems in order to ensure compliance and conformance to Safety and Health Policies, Management Systems and Legislation.
9. To lead and coordinate the plant emergency response team and fire prevent / Fire fighting organizing training and emergency drill mock activities.
Job Requirements
1. Broad experiences in managing construction site safety and health.
2. Good leadership and interpersonal skills in managing a team of plant personnel and contractors.
3. Familiar with Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994, OHSAS 18001, Factories and Machinery Act 1967
