Position Objectives:

  • Primary responsibilities are to provide the user acceptance testing, change management & data analysis support across multiple claims system enhancements, BAU initiatives & projects.
  • To design the test script, test plan and execution of user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • To create the process flow (SOP’s), user guides & other documentation for change management.
  • To conduct data analysis on the claims volume, return on investments & UAT test data etc.

Roles and Responsibilities:

UAT Testing (50%)

  • To execute test script preparation based on the user requirement and functional specifications document.
  • To communicate with IT and business user to understand the requirement.
  • Focus and manage quality test script preparation and align with the requirement.
  • To ensure test cases executed within agreed time frame.
  • To ensure clear explanation given with supporting documents (screen shot) when defect raised to IT.
  • To explain clearly to IT and relevant team during IT defect meeting.
  • To make sure to get the expected timeline from IT for the defect fixes.
  • To provide sample of high lever test cases to business user to do the regression testing.
  • To follow up with the relevant business user to get the UAT sign off within the agreed timeline.

Change Management (40%)

  • To coordinate with the team and have discussion with business user to design & create user manual /SOP.
  • To get approval from relevant team e.g. GSE team, legal, compliance etc.
  • To ensure the user guide and SOP completed before the go live date.
  • To prepare training tools, plan and organize system training for the business user.
  • Compile feedback from business user during the training and discuss the challenges with Business Lead and Test Manager.
  • To make sure to prepare post deployment test script within the agreed timeline.
  • To ensure test cases executed within agreed time frame.
  • To raise defects and inform the relevant team whenever has error during testing.
  • To communicate and discuss with business user and align with test cases to be tested by business user and UAT tester during post deployment.

Reporting (10%)

  • Preparing, reviewing, and maintaining project documentation and reports.
  • To generate analysis & provide concise, insightful summary of information to head of department.
  • To synthesize data and feedback from users, clients, and management.

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, in any field of study or with relevant background.
  • Experience on the UAT testing / claims management / insurance background would be preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to effectuate change at multiple levels of the organization.
  • Ability to handle multitasking environment, meet deadlines, and work with a wide range of sensitive and confidential issues.
  • Self-motivated and self-starter, and able to work under minimal supervision.
