Junior Microbial Analyst

Requirement

1. Minimum Degree in Microbiology, Biology, Food Technology or other related and equivalent discipline of sciences.
2. Familiar with laboratory testing and instrumentation.
3. Good interpersonal and communication skills and ability to interact with people at all levels.
4. A team player and able to work independently with good organization.
5. Computer literate.

Job Description

1. Carry out routine microbiology testing activities.
2. Analyze, record and maintain testing results in the worksheet/logbook.
3. Prepare required culture media and reagent for microbiology testing.
4. Conduct internal quality control for laboratory environment, working culture and culture media.
5. Carry out intermediate checks/verification and maintenance for laboratory equipment.
6. Maintain lab equipment in proper working condition.
7. Carry out laboratory safety checking and upkeep clean laboratory environment.
8. Ensure the stored material/goods are identified, allocated, preserved and protected in a proper manner.
9. Additional jobs assigned by the supervisor.
