Job Overview:
The Business Development Executive is responsible for identifying, developing, and managing strategic business opportunities and partnerships to drive revenue growth. This role focuses on expanding the company's training programs for certified professionals and the public, enhancing market presence, and achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Market Research and Analysis:
- Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
- Analyze market needs and customer feedback to refine training offerings and strategies.
Strategic Planning:
- Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve sales targets and expand the client base.
- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, partnerships, and collaborations.
Client Acquisition and Relationship Management:
- Identify and approach potential clients, including corporate clients, government agencies, and individuals seeking certification and public training.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and industry associations.
- Develop customized training proposals and solutions to meet client needs.
Sales and Revenue Growth:
- Drive the sales process from lead generation to closing deals, ensuring consistent achievement of sales targets.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients and partners.
- Track and report on sales performance, pipeline, and revenue forecasts.
Marketing and Promotion:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute promotional campaigns and materials for training programs.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to generate leads and build brand awareness.
Program Development and Coordination:
- Work closely with the training and curriculum development teams to ensure training programs meet market demands and industry standards.
- Provide feedback on program content and delivery to enhance the quality and effectiveness of training offerings.
Customer Support and Satisfaction:
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by providing excellent pre- and post-sales support.
- Address and resolve any client issues or concerns promptly and effectively.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Education, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related field, preferably within the training or education sector.
- Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Experience working with corporate clients and government agencies is a plus.
- Identify & propose changes/solutions to drive and increase targeted delivery.
- Willing to travel and possess own transport.
