Job Descriptions
- Manage overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of procurement for the hospital.
- Implement procurement strategies to maintain security of supply and optimum value for money.
- Develop key relationships with business stakeholders and strategic supply partners to improve business.
- Responsible in supplier sourcing and selection, price benchmarking as well as monitoring the performance of suppliers
- Review contract specifications and negotiation
- Advise and monitor the verification of invoice against PO and DO prior to payment processing. Investigate root cause analysis on invoice non-conformity
- Generate procurement reports for management review and other report to Management for any concerns regarding procurement processes
- Monitoring warehouse activities and stock management
- Analyze, manage and monitoring inventory to optimize stock level and set of stock Par level
- Forecast and review inventory stock par level on quarterly basic according to hospital needs
- Ensuring compliance on procurement in lieu with organization's policies and audit requirement
- Ensure all required documentation in relation to a purchase is in accordance with the Department's Policies & Procedures
- Source new and alternate suppliers for existing products whenever necessary
- Create inventory stock codes and updating patient's charging price according to finance charging policy
- Work & coordinate with inter-department to resolve vendor related discrepancies
- Preparing minutes of meeting and agenda for Procurement Committee Meeting
- Clear backlog PO from system
- Liaise with respective suppliers/other hospital for the short expiry goods exchange/replacement
- Responsible proper information is maintained and updated accordingly in the HIS purchasing & Inventory Module
Job Requirements
- Possess at least Diploma/ Bachelor Degree or equivalent.
- A fast and continuous learner, especially in this fast-changing technology-driven start-up environment
- Ability to prioritize and perform effectively under pressure
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters.
- Good in computer literacy
- Strong integrity, commitment and maintain a high level of confidentiality.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
